Regulation of general insurance sales and administration 
In January 2003 HM Treasury announced that the powers of the Financial Services Authority ("FSA") would be extended to include the regulation of general insurance sales and administration and this came into effect on the 14 January 2005.


Both MSL and Financial & Legal Insurance Company Ltd are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.


Our FSA number is 311676.


Our permitted business is advising, arranging, dealing in, and the administration and performance of non-investment insurance contracts.
